Toys R Us is planning to broaden its bodily presence with extra flagships and shops on cruise ships and in airports, dad or mum firm WHP World introduced Friday.

After going bankrupt, Toys R Us closed its bodily shops in 2018, and its first purchaser post-bankruptcy aborted a earlier mall-focused revival scheme as a result of COVID-19 pandemic. WHP World purchased it in 2021.

In November, the chain’s first airport location will open in Terminal A at Dallas/Fort Value Worldwide Airport, WHP World stated in a launch. From there, the chain plans to open extra flagship shops throughout America, and open additional places in different airports and on cruise ships.

“The Toys R Us model is rising quick and our growth into air, land and sea is a testomony to the model’s power … as we head into 2024, we’re excited to convey Toys “R” Us to shoppers all over the place, whether or not you’re visiting considered one of our shops at Macy’s, at our flagships, in an airport, or onboard a cruise ship,” WHP World CEO Yehuda Shmidman stated in a press release.

The corporate didn’t say which cruise traces or which particular ships would function Toys” R” Us places, nor did it specify the place different flagship and airport shops is perhaps opened.

Beforehand, Toys R Us launched a flagship retailer on the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey in 2021, and expanded to providing Toys “R” Us outlets in 452 Macy’s shops nationwide in 2022.
