MIAMI — A cargo airplane safely landed at Miami Worldwide Airport late Thursday evening after an engine malfunction occurred shortly after takeoff.
In accordance with Atlas Air Worldwide, the airline to which the airplane belonged to, landed safely after experiencing an engine malfunction quickly after departure from MIA round 10:32 p.m., in line with flight knowledge offered by FlightAware. Miami-Dade Aviation advised CBS Information Miami that the airplane landed again on the airport round 11:03 p.m.
Video offered by ONLY in DADE confirmed the airplane flying in Miami airspace with what gave the impression to be a “path of sparks” because it was descending. Officers advised CBS Information Miami’s Morgan Rynor that the engine caught on hearth, however the reason for the malfunction is below investigation.
