Bengaluru Worldwide Airport (BLR)—which serves Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, India—has earned UNESCO’s recognition as one of many “World’s Most Lovely Airports” and the “World Particular Prize for an Inside 2023” for its Terminal 2 (T2), termed “Terminal in a Backyard,” which started operations a 12 months in the past. The terminal was designed by US-based international structure studio Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), which is a net-zero emission enterprise.
Bengaluru Worldwide Airport, formally referred to as Kempegowda Worldwide Airport, is the first worldwide airport serving Bangalore, the capital metropolis of India’s state of Karnataka.
