Mystery is intriguing don’t you think? I’m a trained journalist and marketer with four different Instagram accounts with a combined audience of over 500,000 followers. I spent my youth backpacking around the World. Whilst I had, quite frankly, the time of my life the ideologies of a hedonistic youth and that of an affluent, older gentleman are vastly different. Consequently, in the manic 24/7 World in which we currently operate time, the great commodity of the 20th century, is increasingly short. I therefore am continually driven to seek more luxurious surroundings, specifically those boutique or luxury.

Switzerland – Geneva the peace Capital

By on April 7, 2017

Geneva, the peace capital, is one of the most efficient cities I’ve been too where everything appears to run like clockwork. It’s Switzerland’s second biggest city with only half the population of Zurich.

Located at the southern end of the Lac Leman Geneva is surrounded by the both the Aps and Jura mountains and has delightful views, weather pending, off Mont Blanc.

It also remains one of the most expensive cities, so be prepared. A who’s who of designer watch shops and fashion boutiques line up along the lake.

The Bains des Pauqis is a must all year around, Brave (or foolhardy) swimmers use this all year around but it’s a more favourable place in the summer where you’ll be able to enjoy musical performances, sunbathing and swimming.

Hotel N’’vy Manotel

Offers a more modern flavour to the more historic and highly expensive hotels along the lake.

Located within touching distance of the lake the hotel is a mere 10-15 walk from the centre and train station although the ever efficient trams or buses provide an alternative option. I tend to stay in the luxurious suites – superbly coloured and decorated with state of the art technology with ambient lighting that can also be found in the other rooms but with the additional of balconies, perfect throughout the year for dramatic views.

It’s has a luxurious but friendly feel, clever design and impressive technology giving it a unique appeal within Geneva. Renovated back n 2012 funky and stylish art pieces are displayed  throughout  the hotel.

Friendly and welcoming staff greet you through the hotel. The knowledgeable bar staff are on hand to offer a vast selection of cocktails and any other drink! The bar, in keeping with the rest of the hotel is incredibly stylish and is adjacent to the restaurant. The “Tags café” offers further dining options.
