Skylight – London restaurant with outdoor seating

Skylight Rooftop, famous for its panoramic views across London’s skyline and expansive space, will be opening its doors for some
much-overdue rooftop fun on Monday 12th April 2021.

After a long period of isolation, Londoners will finally be able to meet up withfriends and family at one of the city’s favourite outdoor venues, soak up the sun and enjoy food, drinks and good times in a safe, clean,
open-air environment.

Kicking off its extended season with a bang, Skylight will celebrate reopening with a week-long run before returning to regular Thursday-Sunday opening times.

The Skylight management team has been continuously monitoring government guidelines since the beginning of the pandemic and
have worked with a leading health and safety consultant to ensure that the venue is as safe as possible for the guests and staff alike.

Skylight has both the ‘We’re Good To Go’ and ‘AIM’ COVID-safe accreditations.

“We’re fortunate to have 12,500 square feet of open-air space up at Skylight Rooftop, allowing us to space tables and keep our
guests as safe as possible.” says MEL Event Director, Scott McVittie. “We’re so excited for the summer ahead and we’ve used this
time to ensure that 2021 is packed with fun announcements which we can’t wait to share – from brand new collaborations to one-off
events”.

Skylight has created more space for tables on its rooftop, allowing further flexibility across its sun-drenched terraces and enabling
proper physical social distancing. Tables will all be bookable, with reservations from £10 per table, and for the time being, guests will
need to have secured a booking in advance to guarantee entry, in order to control numbers.

Table service at Skylight is a new feature
being carried over into 2021, with guests being able to order and pay contactless from the table. Similarly to 2020, there will be a
simple one-way system, controlled stairway, regular cleaning and hand sanitising throughout.

Social distancing will not detract from the venue’s unique atmosphere, fun and colourful vibe. The popular tropical beer terrace by
Mexican pale lager Corona will be returning from April, situated on Skylight’s highest level and boasting some of the best views of the
city.

The terrace is not only decorated with tropical foliage, it’s also home to cushioned seating areas and garden booths as well as a
pop-up bar serving pints of ice-cold refreshing lager.

Skylight will also be welcoming back its popular lawn games throughout the season, starting with Pétanque and indoor croquet from
17th May and followed by outdoor croquet from 21st June.

Delicious food options will be returning for 2021, with Hikari offering fresh Asian dishes, and State Side serving up the very best in
American inspired indulgence. Skylight’s three bars will be offering an array of beers, wines and spirits as well as an all-new seasonal
cocktail menu, which will feature refreshing and fruity concoctions. All delivered to the table and perfect for sunshine sipping.

Looking forward to the summer, Skylight will also be playing host to an array of sports screenings including Euro 2021 – across its
rooftop, cocktail cinema space and indoor bar spaces, ideal for hiring with friends.

Other exciting events new for 2021 include a very
exciting partnership with The Comedy Store and musical collaborations. Dog Day will be returning in September as well as seasonal
favourites – cocktail masterclasses, brunches and sing-a-longs.

All updates of these happenings and announcements can be found via
social media and the Skylight website.

Situated atop an unused multi-story carpark and spread across three floors of bars, seating, street food and lawn games, Skylight
Rooftop in Wapping was created in 2017 by Meanwhile Events Ltd.

Skylight remains an all-weather venue with its large pergola on its
main level and enclosed booths on its upper level, as well as the lower level which provides a large heated and sheltered space.

The venue, popular with Londoners and tourists alike, is both a winter and summer hotspot, with an all-seasons offering – from Europe’s
only rooftop ice rink and igloos during winter to Harvest-themed games throughout Autumn.
