Puerto Vallarta is on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, and is simply as fashionable as it’s conventional. With its stunning seashores, historic neighborhoods with cobblestone streets and strong nightlife, the waterfront metropolis is decidedly laid again. There is not any rush to time spent right here, until you are making an attempt to catch one of many attractive sunsets over the water.

Strolling alongside the mile-long Malecón is an efficient introduction to Puerto Vallarta. The ocean views from this famed boardwalk are unparalleled, and there are many boutiques, artwork galleries and eating places providing genuine items and dishes. Artwork is in all places, from the murals painted on the perimeters of buildings to the expertly beaded handicrafts made by Indigenous Huichol artists dwelling within the close by Sierra Madre Mountains. Admiring the sculptures alongside the Malecón is a should.
