WASHINGTON – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) introduced a complete of $3,224,503 in Bipartisan Infrastructure Regulation (BIL) funding to airports throughout North Dakota. These funds can be administered via the FAA Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) Program as follows:
- $2,600,000 to Jamestown Regional Airport for the development, modification, and rehabilitation of a service street and taxiway and the acquisition of snow elimination gear.
- $150,000 to Garrison Municipal Airport for the reconstruction of a terminal constructing.
- $150,000 to Seaside Airport for the set up of a runway vertical and visible steerage system, and for the reconstruction of runway lighting and taxiway lighting.
- $144,000 to Hettinger/JB Lindquist Regional Airport to seal apron pavement floor, runway pavement floor, taxi lane and taxiway pavement floor.
- $113,003 to Glen Ullin Regional Airport to amass D57 snow elimination gear.
- $67,500 to Ashley Municipal Airport for the rehabilitation of runway signage and markings.
The totally paid-for BIL established the AIG program to supply airport’s funding for modernization and security initiatives.
