KENYA: Campbell residents Sharon McCray and Robert Martinez and their associates, Sara Powers and David Bayly from Healdsburg, went to Kenya in July to go to a number of nationwide parks together with Maasai Mara and Amboseli nationwide parks. “It was an exquisite journey!” Sharon says. “Kenya is located alongside the Equator and apparently sufficient, it was hotter in San Jose than there. Whereas the animals, surroundings and meals had been excessive, the folks left the warmest and finest reminiscences.”

Don’t miss the Nairobi Nationwide Museum — enable 4 hours, she says. “A dawn balloon journey over the Mara is a should, and the breakfast afterwards is 5 star.”

TRAVEL TIPS:  There is no such thing as a plastic of any type allowed in Kenya, together with water bottles. “Water is served in glass bottles. Fabric luggage are finest for toiletries.” Pack electrical converters and be sure to e-book with a good tour firm. “Some motels with good names,” Sharon says, “are questionable.”
